Keeping a toddler busy is easier said than done sometimes! If you like me and want to limit screen time, try these easy, low-prep pasting activities for toddlers!

I love to do activities with my daughter that help to master a specific skill. You can say that’s the Montessori way of doing things, but I find it extremely beneficial for small children.
Pasting and cutting are great activities for practicing fine motor skills. My daughter is learning to use scissors, so these pasting activities have come in handy for her.
Pasting Shapes
If you’re looking to introduce shapes, or your little one is interested in shapes, this could be a great activity for them. You could cut out shapes from construction paper, or use these cutout shapes that come ready to be punched out.
Birthday Cup Cake Station
Creating a birthday card-making station is another great pasting activity for toddlers! This encourages creativity, as they work with a blank canvas to create a birthday card for someone special. We used a simple cupcake printout and added different textiles such as; sprinkles, pom poms, pipe streamers, and whatever else we found.
Pasting Tissue Paper
If you have ever done a cart with tissue paper, you know how fun working with tissue paper can be! I found these cute little tissue paper squares on Amazon. I set up this fun tissue paper craft for my daughter and it was a huge hit!
Pasting Flowers
In our house we love flowers! Once our flowers are on their last leg, we like to take them and create fun crafts with them! Using the pedals from the flowers you can create a fun craft! We decided to glue flower pedals on a wooden tray from Target, we then used Modge Podge once it was dry to hold the flowers in place.
Get Dressed Pasting Activity
My daughter is into her Barbies these days, and what they are wearing. So I created this cute little getting dressed pasting activity for her! I did a boy and a girl, and she got yo choose which outfits they wore.
Pom Pom Family Photo Crafts
This craft was from Valentine’s Day last year, and it was a huge hit! We got this picture frame from Target and used pom poms to decorate it. My daughter LOVED this activity, once she was finished we hung it up on the kitchen fridge.
Paper Puncher + Pasting Activity
My daughter loves using hole punchers and stampers these days! SO I create a fun tray for her to use the shape hole punchers, and then glue them on strips of paper.
Pasting Letters Matching Activity
This is a great activity for teaching letter recognition and working on pasting! I told my daughter we would create a card to send to a friend. She enjoyed decorating this card with letters. These letters are from Amazon.
