Matching Alphabet Activity For Toddlers

This activity is so easy to set up, and a great way to teach letter recognition to toddlers. The objective of this activity is to get them to use Dot Markers, find the matching letters according to the color. This encourages letter recognition and color recognition.

Everything You Need For This Activity

• Large Craft Paper
• Dot Markers
• Black sharpie

How To Set It Up | Step By Step Instructions

This activity is easy to set up, and takes little to no time to set up. Here is the step by step instructions on how to set this activity up.

1. Lay out the craft paper, and tape down the sides with some tape. 
2. Create a section in the middle of the paper, were you can write the letters, and color them whatever color you want. 
3. Next, write the letters all around the rest of the paper. These will be the letters your toddler will match with the letters in the middle and color them according to the matching color. 
4. That’s it, you can demonstrate how to find the letter and color it if your toddler is new to the “color code concept”
