Finding fun things to do during the winter months can be hard. Spending most of our time indoors trying to keep warm during the colder months. I like to create fun, interactive activities during the winter months, like this winter sensory bin. My kids loved it, and it was perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!

Why Are Sensory Activities Important
Sensory activities can sometimes be overlooked, but they are important and beneficial to young children. Sensory activities engage their senses—sight, touch, sound, smell, and sometimes taste!
Sensory activities, when done with a parent or group setting, can help support cognitive development, fine motor skill development, problem-solving skills, and language development.
Sensory play can also calm small children, helping them regulate their emotions, and sometimes even reducing anxiety.
