This pom pom sweeping activity is a fantastic way to develop fine and gross motor skills in young children. As they use a small broom to sweep pom poms into a designated area, they strengthen their hand-eye coordination, grip control, and core stability. This activity also promotes practical life skills, encouraging independence and responsibility while making cleaning up fun!

How To Set This Activity Up
- To set up, use washi tape or painter’s tape to create a small “target area” or box on the floor.
- Scatter pom poms around the area and provide a child-sized broom or even a dustpan and brush.
- Encourage your child to sweep the pom poms into the taped-off space, turning cleanup into a fun and engaging game!
- Set a timer or play music to make it a challenge for extra excitement.
