- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons / Markers
- Cardstock Paper
🦋 Lifecycle of a Butterfly (4 Stages)
- Egg – The butterfly begins as a tiny egg, usually laid on a plant leaf.
- Caterpillar (Larva) – The egg hatches into a caterpillar, which eats a lot to grow quickly and sheds its skin several times.
- Chrysalis (Pupa) – Once fully grown, the caterpillar forms a chrysalis. Inside, it undergoes a complete transformation.
- Adult Butterfly – A beautiful butterfly emerges from the chrysalis, ready to fly, find a mate, and lay eggs—starting the cycle again!

How To Set It Up
- Start by downloading the FREE Butterfly lifecycle printable.
- Have your little one color the Egg, Caterpillar, Chrysalis, and butterfly.
- Cut out the green circle, and the lifecycle parts ( Egg, Caterpillar, Chrysalis, and Butterfly)
- Fold the dotted lines on the lifecycle cutouts.
- Place the correct image on the life cycle circle, and glue it down
- Enjoy your fun Butterfly Lifecycle Craft!
