As a little girl, I would get so excited the closer it got to easter because I loved being able to do easter egg hunts.
I plan on recreating some of those same traditions I experienced as a little girl around easter time. I loved the easter egg hunt, so I wanted to recreate that but with a little twist. I created an easter egg hunt, but the kids would have to rescue the eggs they find along the way.
Using some scotch tape, easter eggs, and really good hiding spots, I was able to recreate the popular easter egg hunt tradition!

Setting Up The Easter Egg Hunt & Rescue
First, pick an area where you would like to have the egg hunt, try to choose an open area that has good hiding spots as well. I prefer to set this activity up during naps, So my kids didn’t see where I hide the eggs.
- Using your tape, secure each egg to a hard surface around the house.
- Grab the easter egg basket, and add some easter grass inside
- Once the activity is ready, you may need to demonstrate what to do for younger toddlers. For older toddlers, you can explain to them that the eggs need to be found and rescued.
- Take things up a level by adding fun treats inside each egg ( optional )
